Here’s what people are saying about this course:

In my current role, I am frequently interacting with different school teams (adults), parents, and students. I encounter passive aggressive behaviors from various people frequently throughout the week. After this training, I will be able to identify the passive aggressive behaviors in the moment, become cognizant of how I am feeling and how to then purposefully respond so not to respond in a counter Passive Aggressive Manner.

Many of the strategies mentioned in the 8 Skills for Responding to Passive Aggressive Behaviors reflects strategies that we use with students to manage behaviors and elicit different responses. It correlates beautifully with the CPI escalation cycle as well. However, what was super beneficial was understanding the theory behind the development of Passive-Aggressive Behaviors, the levels of PA and why we should respond with specific strategies. I also appreciate the Benign Confrontation as a long-term approach to helping someone with PA behaviors be able to develop a different, healthier cycle to handling feelings of anger.

I think the course was fabulous and I really enjoyed it. I loved the theory and context it provided in order to better understand the fundamentals and root of PA behaviors. Thank you for providing the course!
