Overview

This online training provides video-based instruction, based on the textbook, The Angry Smile: The Psychology of Passive Aggressive Behavior in Families, Schools, and Workplaces. Led by co-author Signe Whitson, this course teaches participants to understand passive aggressive behavior from its development to its five distinct and increasingly pathological levels. It provides specific strategies for changing responses to passive aggression and confronting the behavior in order to bring about lasting change.

The Angry Smile Online Participant’s Manual: The Participant’s Manual will allow you to follow along with the PowerPoint presented within the video modules.

The Angry Smile Online Study Guide: The Study Guide provides 30 study questions to guide you through The Angry Smile Online course. Please use the information from the video modules and Participant’s manual to mark each statement with your answer from the MULTIPLE CHOICE list. At the conclusion of this online course, 20 of these statements, worded exactly as written below, will appear on the written exam. You must achieve a score of 90% or better in order to successfully complete the training course.
